Stage 1 is a software-only ECU calibration designed to improve the vehicle’s performance while retaining the factory hardware.

The ECU software is recalibrated to optimise:

  • Engine torque & power delivery
  • Throttle response
  • Boost pressure (where applicable)
  • Fuel and ignition calibration
  • Torque limiters
  • Speed limiters (where applicable)

The result is improved performance, sharper response and a more refined driving experience, while keeping the vehicle mechanically stock.

Stage 2

Norris Motorsports Stage 2 ECU remapping explainer

Stage 2 is a more advanced ECU calibration designed to take advantage of performance hardware already installed on the vehicle.

The ECU software is recalibrated to optimise:

  • Engine torque & power delivery
  • Throttle response
  • Boost pressure and control
  • Fuel & ignition calibration
  • Torque management
  • RPM and speed limiters, where applicable
  • Additional calibration required for the vehicle’s performance setup

Stage 2 is designed to provide stronger performance, improved response and optimized power delivery while working with the vehicle’s upgraded hardware.

Included
Stage 2 includes further edits and changes if needed after the vehicle has been logged.
Hardware
Stage 2 generally requires supporting performance modifications, depending on the vehicle and tuning platform.
